Brian Kisida is a Research Associate in the Department of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas. Mr. Kisida provides technical and analytic support for both the School Choice Demonstration Project, a national research team preparing to conduct an independent longitudinal multi-method evaluation of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program, and the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program impact evaluation led by Dr. Patrick Wolf. He has special responsibilities in the areas of survey design, administration, and quantitative analysis. Mr. Kisida has previously served as an Instructor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Arkansas. He has also worked at The Arkansas Poll, designing and implementing both national and state-level questionnaires. His areas of interest include American politics, political behavior, public administration, public law, and normative political theory. His research interests are focused on how education, political learning, and information levels interact with civic participation, civic values, and public policy outcomes. Mr. Kisida received his B.A.(’04, Phi Beta Kappa) and M.A. (’06) in Political Science from the University of Arkansas.

Professional Experience
Research Associate: Analytic support for the School Choice Demonstration Project, in conducting a longitudinal evaluation of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program, and the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program Longitudinal Impact Evaluation, August 2006-present. Instructor: Department of Political Science, Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, University of Arkansas, (Spring/Summer/Fall 2005, Spring 2006). Taught courses in American National Government. Research Assistant: Research Assistant to The Arkansas Poll, University of Arkansas, (Summer/Fall 2005). Co-designing and implementing national comparative questionnaire related to survey research at the state level. Content Editor: “Recent Developments in Administrative Law” webpage for the Section on Public Law and Administration (SPLA) of the American Society of Public Administration (ASPA), 2005. Teaching Assistant: Department of Political Science, University of Arkansas, (Spring 2004). Tasks included course prep and research, test grading, paper grading, lecture.
