Lynn Woodworth is an Arkansas native originally from Harrison. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University. After graduating, Lynn enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served on active duty with the Marines as an Arabic linguist for six years achieving the rank of Sergeant and earning numerous awards including the Navy Achievement Medal. In fall of 1998, Lynn accepted a position as band director for the Mansfield school district where he taught band and general music for 11 years. Under his direction, Mansfield’s band and students earned numerous Excellent and Superior ratings. Lynn has earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership through the Center for Leadership and Learning at Arkansas Tech.
 
Lynn's areas of interest include longitudinal evaluation of educational outcomes, academic curriculum, and educational choice.
