The Department of Education Reform offers competitive merit-based fellowship awards, providing full tuition plus an attractive annual stipend for qualified applicants. Each of these awards allows for the candidate to gain valuable experience by doing research for 20 hours per week in the Department of Education Reform. |

Distinguished Doctoral Fellowships (DDF) The Department of Education Reform can nominate no more than 2 qualified applicants as Distinguished Doctoral Fellows. Recipients of the DDF will have tuition paid for degree-related coursework, but are still responsible for miscellaneous fees. In addition, DDF Recipients will receive an annual award stipend renewable for up to three years after the initial award year (4 years total). Distinguished Doctoral Fellows will hold a half-time, 12-month graduate assistant position in the Department of Education Reform, requiring 20 hours of research work per week. Distinguished Doctoral Fellowship nominations go before committee review once a year on March 1st. All students wishing to be considered for a DDF should have all necessary application materials to the Department of Education Reform no later than January 10. In addition DAF recipients will receive an annual award stipend renewable for up to three years after the initial award year (4 years total). Doctoral Academy Fellows will hold a half-time, 12 month graduate assistant position in the Department of Education Reform, requiring 20 hours of research work per week. Applications for Doctoral Academy Fellowships can be considered by the Graduate School anytime during the year, but applicants should apply by January 10 for admission in the following fall.
