Temple Shalom Religious School

Our religious school meets every Sunday 10:00AM - 12:00 Noon each Sunday during the school year at the Hillel House.  Religious education is provided free of tuition charges to the children of Temple Shalom members.

Mission Statement

 

1. The Religious School is operated as a service to the community by Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas.

 

2. The school operates for the benefit of the education of Jewish children, families and the Jewish community of Northwest Arkansas.

 

3. The religious school provides comprehensive Jewish education for children Pre-K through High school.

 

Policy

 

1. The religious school is supervised by the Director of the religious school.Who is responsible for the development and implementation of all religious

school programming in consultation with the religious school committee, temple Board, and Rabbi.

 

2. The Director or a designated representative of the religious school committee will sit on the temple Board as a voting member and will make regular reports

to the Board about religious school activities.

 

3. The Religious school committee as necessary will nominate a director to bring to the Temple Board for approval.

 

4. A procedure for nomination and election of religious school committee members will be developed and presented for approval.

 

5. Temple Shalom Religious School encourages all Religious School members to become a part of the Temple Shalom family!
