Events for the Community Space Center Public Lectures The space center offers a series of lectures on topics in the space and planetary sciences aimed at the general public. Click here for details. Workshops for Teachers The space center also offers summer workshops for teachers, which normally carry in-service training credit by the public school districts. Click here for details. Public Planetarium Shows The planetarium is a teaching element in the university and does not offer public shows. However, we are happy to make arrangements for visits and private shows for any interested groups to the extent that we are able. Please contact the space center office. Visits to the
