The Andromeda chamber is the
largest planetary environmental chamber in the Keck Laboratory. It is currently being used for
experiments to determine the stability and behavior of water on Mars and
other projects. This view shows the
top of the chamber and the surrounding platform. The rest of the chamber is below the platform, which is about
six feet high. When the screen is
black, the laboratory is unoccupied and the lights are off, although the
equipment may be operating. For
