We are the Pioneers to Women's Lacrosse in the state of Arkansas . If you are interested in also joining the legacy, feel free to stop by and give the sport of lacrosse a shot. Fall 2006 Lacrosse was introduced to the University of Arkansas. The team began to form. Spring 2007 Arkansas ' first official lacrosse season. Finished 3 rd in the Central Plains Women's Lacrosse League (CPWLL) West Conference. A great accomplishment for a first year team. We embarked on a fresh season with eleven brand-new players and with eight experienced players. Our blank slate was soon painted with various colors of personalities and skills. After each play-day, we left with a more enlightened mind, eager to take on our next challenge. Thank you to the parents that made traveling and lodging more conducive for our budget. Fall 2007* 2nd Pre-season/Fall ball. Spring 2008 2nd Season. Ready to play some ball! Future endeavors : Major recruitment. Develop team publicity. Obtain more sponsors. Future aspirations: Host a youth lacrosse camp. Introduce women's lacrosse to high schools in the area after laying the foundation of a newly developed team here at U of A. Come support the one and only Women's Lacrosse Team in the state of Arkansas. Give the Hogs a call and root on the Arkansas women's laxers! We appreciate your support!
