Even though we are a new club team, and most of us are new to the sport, we expect dedication and commitment from those who play.

When does lacrosse begin?

The training season for lacrosse starts during the Fall – our off-season. We use this valuable time to prepare, to strengthen, and to enhance your game. After a lengthy summer break, it's time to refresh and to rejuvenate. We will also use this time to fundraise for the rest of the year. Fundraisers are extremely important as they will enable our ability to travel and play at a more competitive level.

What is Fall Ball like?

We typically have 3-4 practices/week during the fall, for about 1 to 2 hours each, depending on what night. We will focus on the improvement of our skills (both offensively and defensively), and we will spend a significant amount of time on conditioning. Lacrosse is a very intense sport. Most of the running that is done in practice is in the form of sprints, because it is assumed you will be doing (and have been doing) distance running on your own time. You should definitely be able to run 2 miles without stopping. Although, don't despair; you'll work up to it.

How can I be successful?

Everyone wants to play in a game. However, playing in a game is not a free ticket. It is a reflection of your effort, and it is evident when one has been practicing and running (or the lack thereof). If you do these things – you are guaranteed to improve. Come with a great attitude – no complaints, no excuses, and eager to learn. Be aggressive and never give up. Even brand-new players can, and in fact, have exhibited this type of desire. You can too.

Who can play?

We definitely welcome players of all skill levels; from those who have played to those who have not. Don't be timid. We will teach you and YOU will learn. However, expect intensity and expect to practice much.

What if I have a scheduling conflict?

Don't. Well, at least try not to. Try to arrange your schedules so that you will be available to practice during the allotted times. Practice, after all, makes perfect. You will improve your skills by doing so, and you'll become better acquainted with your teammates. If you have an unavoidable conflict, discuss it with the coach.

What to expect from the Spring season:

We will execute, execute, execute. This is when all our hard work pays off. After playing games, we will practice and capitalize on our weaknesses and enhance our strengths. Get ready for a fun and exhilarating season!
