This website was developed by personnel at the University of Arkansas and its various partners to provide farmers and ranchers risk management information relevant to their operations. While some parts of the website were designed to specifically serve the needs of Native Americans, Hispanic producers and/or Specialty Crop producers, much of the information is relevant to any small to mid-size producer interested in managing risk associated with agricultural production.

Since 2001, at various times, the University of Arkansas has received support from the USDA - Risk Management Agency (RMA), USDA - Cooperative State Research Education and Extension Service (CSREES), the Southern Region Risk Management Education Center (SRRMEC) and Wal-Mart Foundation. Our efforts would not have succeeded without this important support.  

On this website, we hope to provide technical assistance through materials of our guide book, information regarding upcoming workshops, and links to other sources of risk management information in English and Spanish.
