Cortical Dynamics Laboratory
Department of Psychological Science, University of Arkansas
The Cortical Dynamics Laboratory (CDL) is located in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Arkansas. Research in our lab is concerned with understanding fundamental neural mechanisms of the human cerebral cortex, the largest and most complex structure of the brain. Our research concentrates largely on mechanisms of visual perception but examines cortical function from several other perspectives as well. To this end, we use a variety of methods including psychophysics, electroencephalography (EEG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and near-infrared optical imaging.
