Service
  1. Minimum of Twenty (20) service hours during the pledging period.
  2. At least fifteen (15) of the hours must be with the fraternity.
  3. Record all hours in the service notebook.
Meetings
  1. You must attend all pledge class meetings and all of the chapter meetings during the pledging process.
  2. If you cannot be at a pledge meeting and/or a chapter meeting, let the pledge trainer know before that meeting.
  3. Pledge class meetings are held one hour prior to chapter. Time and place are set by chapter.
  4. Actives that are disruptive in any form may be asked to leave by the Pledge Trainer at any time

Quizzes

  1. Each pledge is required to make a minimum of 90% on all pledge quizzes, make-ups and retasts are allowed.
  2. The pledge's big brother must sign each graded quiz.
  3. Cheating is only allowed by permission of the pledge trainer.
Interviews
  1. Ten (10) Brothers (at least 5 officers, Big Brother, and other active members)
  2. One (1) Advisor
  3. One (1) Alumni, Inactive, or a Brother from another chapter
  4. All of your pledge brothers if less than 15 pledges, 16 to 30, 75% of pledge class, 31 to 45, 50% of pledge class, more than 45 is at the pledge trainer's discretion.
  5. Interview questions will be made up of five (5) supplied questions and three (3) pledge-invented questions of good taste.
  6. All interviews must be done in person (no emails or phone calls)
  7. All answers will be handwritten by the pledge and signed by the interviewee
Other Requirements
  1. Pledges are strongly encouraged to wear their pledge pins daily, especially at all chapter and pledge events.
  2. Do not wear pledge pins or letters where alcohol is served.
  3. Visit the APO office and sign the pledge sheet at least once a week.
  4. Comply with current Service, Membership, Finance, and Risk Management Policies.
  5. Keep a neat and orderly pledge notebook to be graded at the end of the semester.
  6. Pledges classes will plan, execute, and attend their own service project and fellowship.
  7. Pledges are required to attend the pledge/active retreat unless they tell the Pledge Trainer they are unable to do so at least one day before the event.
  8. The above policy is at the discretion of the Pledge Trainer.
