Kiara Pipino has been directing the Valle Christi International Theatre Festival for eight years in Italy, and Summer 2009 the Festival was awarded Best Cultural Event for the Summer 09 (for the Regione Liguria) by the Italian National newspaper La Stampa.

Emily Jones served as assistant director to Richard Hamburger on The Blue Room  
by David Hare, September 2009, at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.

Jae Sim participated as a director in The William Inge Center for Arts 9th Annual 24-Hour Play Festival, September 2009.

Esteban Arevalo served as Assistant Director to Michael Landman on Death of a Salesman, September 2009, at the Studio Theatre, Walton Arts Center, Fayetteville.

 

Brian Saxton served as the Technical Director and guest Set Designer at the Arundel Barn Playhouse in Arundel just outside of Kennebunkport, Maine.

 

Spring 2010 Undergraduate Advising - October 19th - 23rd!!!

All Drama Majors and Minors are encouraged to stop in to the Drama Department Office (Kimpel Hall 619) to sign up for a brief (15 minutes) advising appointment with Michael Riha. Advising appointments will be held Monday, October 19th thru Friday, October 23rd.

 

Mandatory Senior Progress Review Meeting Scheduled for October 21st!!

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all Senior Drama Majors who are planning on graduating this May 2010 to discuss the New and Expanded Senior Progress Review process. It will be at this meeting where details of the newly formated SPR will be discussed. This is the ONLY group meeting prior to the presentations that will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009. Please sign up for a slot on the sign up sheet located on the Kimpel Hall, 6th floor bulletin board outside of the elevators.
