Semipalmated Sandpiper, Calidris pusilla.
July 12 to September 29 and April 7 to June 14. Common spring transient, less common fall transient. A flock estimated at 100 was seen at the state fish hatchery on May 12, 1984, and 30 were still present as late as June 2.

Western Sandpiper, Calidris mauri.
July 8 to September 29, and three spring records: May 28, 1984, and May 20, 1985, May 24, 1986. Fairly common fall transient. Most sightings involve a dozen or fewer of these birds. A total of 24 were at Lake Sequoyah on August 31, 1963, and 20 were at the state fish hatchery on September 12, 1981.

Least Sandpiper, Calidris minutilla.
July 8 to December 11+ and March 11 to May 30. Common transient that seems to remain during fall until freezes harden the mudflats where it feeds. A total of 116 were present on mudflats at the state fish hatchery on May 14, 1985. Since winter of 1985-86, there have been records of 1-5 birds. There have been records of 1-5 individuals each winter since the 1985-86 season.
