Bell's Vireo, Vireo bellii.
April 8 to September 18. Regular summer resident that may be fairly common locally in open country with thickets, shrubs, or small trees, often near some source of water (pond, stream, etc.). In Washington and Benton Counties, Bell's Vireo has been found during summer in old field-grassland-thicket habitats where noticeable rounds or bumps denote the locations of prairies that existed prior to European settlement.

Warbling Vireo, Vlreo gilvus.
April 1 to September 24. Fairly common migrant, especially in forested stream bottomland habitat. Uncommon, local summer resident. In recent years small populations have been reported during the nesting season along the edge of Lake Frances, Bob Kidd Lake, Withrow Springs State Park, along the Illinois River, in the scattered tall trees at the state fish hatchery in Centerton and at Lake Siloam Springs.

Yellow-throated Vireo, Vireo flavifrons.
April 6 to October 7. Fairly common summer resident observed in extensive mature forests. It can be found regularly in places like the Buffalo National River and surrounding areas, where the forests are quite extensive, as well as in many areas of the Ozark National Forest. It is not present in smaller woodlots except occasionally during migration.
