Dark-eyed Junco, Junco hyemalis.
October 9 to April 25. Common migrant and winter resident. Hundreds are reported annually on the Fayetteville Christmas Bird Count and more that a thousand on several occasions (1974, 1980, 1981). There are a few records of the Oregon Junco form.

Rufous-sided Towhee, Pipilo erythrophthalmus.
Permanent resident. Common summer resident, regular winter resident in small numbers. The western "spotted towhee" is an occasional visitor during winter.
