Kostreva Scholarship |
|
Northwest Arkansas Audubon Society awards the Kostreva Scholarship
to a person involved with environmental education, which includes but
is not limited to teachers, youth counselors and park rangers.
The scholarship covers tuition to a National Audubon Society Ecology Camp plus a stipend toward travel. Audubon Ecology Camps are located in Connecticut, Maine, Minnesota and Wyoming. |
The Kostreva Scholarship was established with the belief that educators who
have knowledge of and an appreciation for the environment will pass those
perceptions on to the children they teach and influence the environmental
consciousness of our next generation.
The Kostreva Scholarship is normally awarded in even-numbered years. Anyone interested in applying for this scholarship should contact Cathy Ross. for more information. |
