Dr. Jeanne McLachlin, Faculty Fellow

Dr. Jeanne McLachlin has been an invaluable help to the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon. She has gone far beyond her responsibility as faculty advisor to our fraternity. By writing a grant for our chapter, Dr. McLachlin has gotten $15,000 for us to set up our Residential Learning Community. Our RLC has four computers, a fax machine, a copier, two printers, two scanners, and a variety of written resources. Not only did Dr. McLachlin write the grant, but she has been an integral part of setting up this area for us. Dr. McLachlin has been organizing the area and overseeing the set-up process since the first computer was brought to the house in August. Now, all of her hard work and dedication have paid off as the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon have the first Residential Learning Community on the University of Arkansas campus.
As a faculty advisor, she aids the fraternity members in almost all matters involving campus life. She helps schedule classes, offers advice on which courses to take, and keeps us up to date on various scholarship opportunities.
