The major in Special Education is designed for those who plan to teach children and adolescents with disabilities. Upon completion of the M.A.T. program students will be eligible for certification in the areas of mild disabilities and moderate/profound disabilities or serious emotional disorders.

B.S.E. Degree with a Major in Special Education

Emphasis in One of the Following Areas: Psychology,
Social Work, Human Services, or Home Economics-Early Childhood

The minimum requirements for all students in the College of Education are listed under General Studies on page 368. The following are requirements for the program in special education.
