POLICY PROHIBITING
SEXUAL HARASSMENT
It is the policy of the University of Arkansas and the School of Law to prohibit sexual harassment of its students, faculty, and staff. Sexual harassment of students includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct which takes place when: submission to the conduct is either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of an individual's academic status or advancement; submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for academic decisions affecting that individual; and/or such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's academic performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive learning environment.
Procedures to implement the policy are detailed in the Student Handbook.
