GROWTH HABIT and RATE:
Spreading, dense, rounded shrub, arching habit, to 2.5 m where top hardy. Fast
growing. Killed to the ground in Zone 5, recovers quickly.
ADAPTABILITY:
Full sun to half shade, acidic soils.

Border, massing, foundation, screen (where not winter-killed).
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Need to prune to remove winter-killed growth.
