Thorny Elaeagnus

Flowers: Silvery, greenish-white flowers in October and November, very fragrant.

Foliage: Glossy dark green leaves, with silvery brown, mealy scales on the undersides.

Fruit: Brown, ripening to red in spring; seldom seen in Fayetteville.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Brownish twigs, producing long, ropy growths.

 

Location: Several plants are located on the west side of the Agriculture Annex.
