Leatherleaf Viburnum

Flowers: Creamy white flowers in flattened clusters in April. Ill-smelling. Some cultivars rebloom in the fall.

Foliage: Dark, leathery green with prominent veins.

Fruit: Bright red, ripening to black, Sept.-Oct.

 

Location: There are plantings of this hybrid on the north and south sides of Old Main.
