GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Wide-spreading, open branching habit, flat crown with horizontal branches.
Pyramidal when young. Grows slowly to 60 feet.
ADAPTABILITY:
Difficult to transplant. Requires well-drained loam in a sunny location, does
not like shade. Intolerant of air pollution.
FUNCTIONS:
Specimen, screen, massing.

None serious.

SUBSPECIES, VARIETIES, CULTIVARS: 'Glauca'- bluish foliage,
