GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Formal, pyramidal shape, slow growing cultivar, perhaps 10-12 feet tall.
ADAPTABILITY:
Transplant balled and burlapped, best in moderately moist, sandy, acid, well-drained
soils. Prefers cold climates. Best in full sun or afternoon shade in warmer
zones.
FUNCTIONS:
Specimen, foundation.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Red spider mite in dry situations may require spraying. Not well-adapted to
Fayetteville as it is too hot in the
summer.
