GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Dense, low-growing, spreading shrub, medium growth rate. About half to a third
the size of C. speciosa.
ADAPTABILITY:
Prefers full sun to partial shade, adaptable to drought. Perhaps site to protect
frost and freeze damage to flowers, although buds open over a long period of
time.
FUNCTIONS:
Shrub border, filler, massing.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Leaf spot and aphids. Prune immediately after flowering.
