Flowers: Greenish yellow to red, apetalous, dioecious, some cultivars are showy in February or March.
Foliage: Medium to fine texture, silvery underneath. Fall color occasionally yellow, but also dropping without color change.
Fruit: Samara, ripens early, May to June, in large numbers.
Location: On Maple St., in front of the Episcopal Center.
