Flowers: Insignificant (except for pollen production) in mid-spring.

Foliage: Pinnately-compound medium green leaves, with sickle-shaped leaflets. Yellow fall color.

Fruit: Edible nuts in thin-shelled husks.

 

Location: St. Thomas Aquinas, east side.
