Flowers: Violet flowers in large terminal racemes in April-May. Fragrant. Flower buds form in the previous season.

Foliage: Medium green, very large heart-shaped leaves.

Fruit: Small, rounded capsule.

Location: At the corner of North and Leverett (southeast corner).
