Pest: Grape Phylloxera
Scout: when shoot length is 5” (early May)
- Look for newly hatched yellow phylloxera exiting galls
- Young galls will be forming on the underside of the terminal leaves
Tactic: Apply thiodan at bloom & ten days later
Alert: Thiodan may damage leaves of:
- Concord, Chancellor, Cascade, Baco Noir
