God Exists: Some Arguments

God exists: A circular argument

1. The Bible says God exists.
2. The Bible is the word of God.
I.e., If the Bible says x, then God says x.
3. God’s word is true.
I.e., If God says x, then, x.
4. What the Bible says is true. (from 2, 3)
I.e., If the Bible says x, then x. (by H.S.)
5. "God exists" is true. (from 1, 4)
I.e., God exists.

God exists: A valid argument

If Nixon was impeached, then God exists.
Nixon was impeached.
God exists.

God exists: A sound argument?

Either God exists or I am a monkey’s uncle.
I am not a monkey’s uncle.
God exists.
