Brief Description:
The aim of this course is to introduce the student to some of the central problems discussed by prominent philosophers of both the past and present, to critically examine fundamental beliefs and concepts, and to develop in the student an interest and ability in thinking philosophically, expressing such thought clearly, comprehending philosophical works and positions, and reasoning intelligently about pivotal questions.
