"According to Ladd, ethical relativism consists of two theses:
(1) a diversity thesis, which specifies what is considered morally right and wrong varies from society to society, so that there there are no moral principles accepted by all societies, andFrom these two ideas he concludes that there are are no universally valid moral principles ..."(2) a dependency thesis, which specifies that all moral principles derive their validity from cultural acceptance
