Brief Description:
The student will be exposed to the theory and techniques of modern formal and informal logic. Topics covered will include: basic concepts of logic, informal fallacies, forming and evaluating formal arguments in sentential logic and modern predicate logic. Students will use a computer program that can coach them through problem sets until they master the material.

LogicCoach III Plus software (included with the Hurley book)
In addition to the textbook each student should purchase three 3.5" computer disks.
