Brief Description:
The student will be exposed to the theory and techniques of modern formal and informal logic. Topics covered will include: basic concepts of logic, informal fallacies, forming and evaluating formal arguments in sentential logic and modern predicate logic. Students will use a computer program that can coach them through problem sets until they master the material.
