Associate of Science of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences Degree

Students may obtain an associate of science in agricultural, food and life sciences degree at ACTA community colleges. ACTA's four-year institutions work with the community colleges to assure efficient transfers to the senior institutions.

The 62-hour curriculum toward the ACTA associate degree features a science-based transfer degree with enough latitude in coursework to allow students to major in a variety of fields.

The degree also includes five credit hours of orientation and introductory courses in agricultural, food and life sciences. These courses are shared among ACTA colleges. The courses are offered with on-campus faculty, compressed interactive video and the World Wide Web.

Students who follow the curriculum should be able to transfer all credits into the majors of their choice listed under the bachelor of science degree section.
