Animal Science DayA total of 114 students from 7 high schools participated in a Science Day Sept. 23 sponsored by Bumpers College in cooperation with the Northwest Arkansas Educational Service Cooperative in Farmington.
ANSC Department presents UA alumnus Weldon Winn with "Friend of the Department" award Keith Lusby, Animal Science department head at the University of Arkansas, presented a "Friend of the Department" award to Weldon Wynn on September 11 at the Lincoln County Fair.
ANSC Department sanctioned clubs gathered for annual "Meet and Greet" Block and Bridle and Pre-Vet clubs kicked off the fall 2008 semester with a "meet and greet" picnic the evening of September 10 at the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Arena.
