Graduate Program

The CSTAR graduate program allows faculty and students from multiple disciplines to collaborate toward common research goals while gaining knowledge in more than one area of expertise.

Students have the opportunity to choose projects that focus on fundamental science, which is critical to the success of chemical sensing technology

Students fulfill the fundamental requirements in one of the traditional departments, but execute their research as part of an interdisciplinary team.  Additional experience is gained by learning how to communicate with others who speak a different technical language.

Students also participate in joint activities and seminars with the different CSTAR research groups.  Students receive additional experience working on projects with CSTAR Industrial Partners.

The Graduate School site features on-line catalogs, academic calendars, Graduate School regulations, and degree programs and courses.
