A New Way to Share Information
The AWRC will be introducing an e-newsletter to share information about our current projects, events, faculty and students. The e-newsletter will be sent via email once a month. If you’d like more information, or if you’d like to receive the e-newsletter, please contact our graduate assistant, Tara Johnson, at email@example.com.
2014 Request for Applications
This year we are requesting two different types of proposals. For specific information, please review the complete request for applications (RFA).
Faculty Research Proposals
This proposal type is what we have been traditionally funding, and our intentions are to fund one to three proposals with a maximum budget of $30,000. The number of proposals selected for funding depends on merit and appropriated federal budget.
Student Research Proposals
The intent of these proposals is supplement graduate or undergraduate student research focused on the authorized mission of the 104B program, as well as furthering the USGS mission, goals, and objectives related to water science. We are also interested in supporting student research that has a high likelihood of being published in a peer-reviewed journal or an undergraduate research journal. These proposals may be submitted either by the faculty advisor identifying the student or by the student with a faculty sponsor. We anticipate funding up to four proposals depending on merit and appropriated federal budget.
