Lot 3 - 'Keats'
Smooth
Jack
is just the right age, and has just the right disposition
to be a child’s horse, school horse for a trainer,
or family pleasure horse. He has been ridden and
shown locally in Hunter classes but because he has
developed some stiffness in his gaits we feel he
should be retired from jumping. We have been riding
him over obstacles, and out on the trail. Buy this
one if you are looking for well trained, kind, calm
and gentle.

The
information above was written 60 days ago. He's
definitely not stiff anymore! We put Keats on MSM
and Glucosamine supplements, trained him to stretch,
applied some "Equine Touch" therapy, and
started riding him regularly. You won't believe
how attractive and nice this big gelding is. Smooth
Jack is being re-started over some low jumps without
any problems at all. I now feel confident that he
will be able to go back to the show ring. We have
both a beginner (in the arena with a coach) and
an advanced rider (on the trails and doing advanced
maneuvers) working him. The "ET" therapy
has been discontinued because he is doing so well
now. Check his notebook at the sale for more updates.
