CL Breezy Day (Breezy)

Breezy is built to win in performance events. He has the eye appeal, color, and size that judges like to see. We think he is strongly influenced by his grandsire, Scarlet Kid, and would make a nice western pleasure, trail, or showmanship horse. He certainly would make an extremely attractive family pleasure horse.

Breezy is aptly named. He has the sunniest disposition of all our yearlings. He is so calm, kind, self-confident and eager to please that his trainer hasn’t had much of a challenge. He crosses the obstacles, carries blankets on his head, and pleasantly accepts anything new with calm curiosity. We expect to have him carrying a small rider by sale day and I think an intermediate rider, with some coaching, could easily continue Breezy’s training next spring.

Breezy is another son of Charlin Ranch’s top sire, CL Buckley (pictured right). CL Buckley has produced 54 IBHA, ABRA, PHBA World Champions, and 53 IBHA, ABRA, PHBA Reserve World Champions, as well as 23 AQHA Top Ten Finalists. Maternal Grandsire, Scarlet Kid, produced many AQHA Performance and Halter World Champions. He also produced NSBA money-earners. Breezy’s great grandsire, Windchester, an AQHA Halter Champion and ROM earner, was an all-time leading sire of point earning halter and performance offspring. Breezy’s other great grandsire, Impressive, continues to be one of the top-winning, top-producing Quarter Horse stallions of all time. Fortunately, Breezy tests totally clear (N/N) for the HYPP gene defect that Impressive carried.
 

Breezy was donated by Charles and Linda Cline of Charlin Ranch in Cushing, OK. The Clines specialize in Buckskins, Palominos, and Quarter Horses. They have almost 300 head of horses on their ranch. Charles and Linda are the leading producers of World Champion Halter Buckskins in the world. That’s right, planet earth.
