Phillips Petroleum Distinguished Professor of International Economics and Business; Dr. Murray has been a Visiting Scholar for the U.S. International Trade Commission and has been a consultant for the U.S. Department of State, Agency for International Development, United Nations, Organization of American States, World Bank, Executive Office of the White House, and the governments of Argentina, Columbia, Morocco and Uruguay. He has published numerous books and monographs, including Trade Preferences for Developing Countries, Handbook of International Business, and Handbook of International Management. Dr. Murray has published articles in Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of American Statistical Association, Southern Economics Journal, Economic Journal, Journal of International Economics, Review of International Economics, International Review of Law and Economics, Kyklos, and other professional journals. Dr. Murray has been invited to speak before Argentina, Minister of Trade, Colombia, INCOMEX, Indonesia, Minister of Finance, Washington, D.C. Bar Association, the U.S. Foreign Service Institute, U.S. Army War College, OECD, and National Bureau of Economic Research, among other organizations. He has served on numerous Expert Working Groups for the United Nations.
