On 15 June 2004, Dr. Allen P. McCartney, first director of the Environmental Dynamics Program, succumbed to complications from Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). This page is dedicated to the memory of Dr. McCartney for his decades of service to the University of Arkansas and the inspiration he provided to all who knew him.
