Minor in Japanese
More information
Minor in Japanese, with Business Orientation
The Japanese Program offers a Minor Program in Japanese with Business Orientation. Students in this program must complete five upper-level Japanese courses listed below to earn a Japanese Minor. There is no scheduling conflict in these courses (see Course Schedules), and students who have completed two years of basic language courses will be able to complete the requirement in two semesters.
Requirements for the Japanese Minor will change as described in the chart below effective Fall Semester 2010. These changes will not affect current or future Japanese minors. All currently required courses for the Japanese Minor will be applicable to the new requirements.
Procedures to declare a Minor in Japanese depend on colleges, but they are very easy. Students in Fulbright College should go to the Department of Foreign Languages (Located at 425 Kimpel Hall) and complete an appropriate form, and students in other colleges should submit an appropriate form available at the Dean's office.
