This is a charming park containing a French garden, an English garden, and a small zoo

with a few wild birds and small animals. The park was built in the 18th century. The park

is located in centre ville and is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon relaxing!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Centre Cordeliers is located in the centre ville of Poitiers. It is a small shopping mall containing

a variety of stores. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night.

One interesting feature of this mall is that the basement floor contains a grocery store named Monoprix.

Monoprix is a chain of grocery stores located throughout France. It tends to be more expensive than the

other markets but sometimes its convenience of location makes up for price differences. It is open Monday

through Saturday 9:30 to 8:00 at night.
