Camegüey is the largest of Cuba's provinces. It is relatively flat with little change in elevation. Archipelagos border both coasts. The province is the island's largest producer of beef and diary. Sugarcane grows on the north and south coasts, and rice grows in the southwest.

Camegüey is Cuba's third largest city.
