Holguín is Cuba's fourth largest province and the third most populous. The province combines agriculture, industry, and tourism to support the economy. The costal areas are home to an increasing number of resorts. Corn, beans, sugar, and coffee dominate the agriculture. There are large iron and cobalt facilities in the eastern town of Moa. Holguin also is known as President Castro's hometown.
