The
Higher Education Leadership Program began in 1961. We are a practitioner-oriented
program and with a primary focus is on the preparation of academic
and administrative professionals who are characterized by their
competence and confidence to be effective leaders in the higher
education workplace.
Our program awards the Master’s Degree (M.Ed.) in Higher Education
(most though not all emphasize student affairs), the Educational
Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Higher Education, and the Doctor
of Education Degree (Ed.D.) in Higher Education (emphases in
administration, college teaching, or an individually-tailored
option).
