Arkansas's WineriesEach of Arkansas's wineries offers visitors a unique look at the processes of grape growing and winemaking. All of the wineries have a gift shop and/or tasting room and many offer tours of the winery, cellars, and/or vineyards. Keels Creek Winery
Arkansas’s newest winery is located in Eureka Springs. The vineyards are in the hills of Keels Creek, down Rock House Road about 3 miles from the city limits. Wine sales is located at 3185 E. Van Buren in a Spanish-style building that is shared with Keels Creek Art Gallery. Although Keels Creek Vineyards are not yet mature enough to supply all of the grapes needed for the winery, the winery has begun producing wines. Chateau aux Arc
Named for the original French spelling of "Ozark," Chateau aux Arc, located near Altus, is the world's largest propagator of Cynthiana grapes, and the largest Chardonnay vineyard and Zinfandel planting in Arkansas. In 2005, Chateau aux Arc unveiled a new 5,400-square-foot tasting room and gift shop. The European-style building, accented by stacked rock columns, is surrounded by a dry moat, stone walkways, and flowerbeds galore. Wiederkehr Wine CellarsThe Swiss winemaking heritage can be explored during a visit to Wiederkehr Village and Wiederkehr Wine Cellars. The oldest and largest winery in mid-America, Wiederkehr Wine Cellars is located on the southern slopes of the Ozark Mountains overlooking the Arkansas River valley. Vineyards surround the winery that is designed in the Swiss alpine style. The cellars which were hand-dug in the 1880s and are now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places have been converted into the award-winning Weinkellar Restaurant that serves Swiss and other European specialties in charming, candlelit surroundings. Winery tours, a tasting room and gift shop are other attractions in Wiederkehr Village. Wiederkehr Wine Cellars produces a wide variety of wines including reds, whites, rosés, blushes, sparkling wines, and alcohol-free wines. These are available at the Vintage 1880 Wine Shoppe in Wiederkehr Village and at the new Swiss Family Bistro Gift Shop & Liquor Store located at Exit 41 on Interstate 40. Post Familie Vineyards

Highlights of a visit to Post Familie Vineyards in downtown Altus are wine tasting, free tours, and browsing the unique gift shop. Post Familie Vineyards produces a wide variety of wines including reds, whites, rosés, blushes, sparkling wines, and alcohol-free wines. Mount Bethel Winery
Mount Bethel Winery is a family owned and operated business that has been handed down for generations. The Post family has a long history in winemaking and, currently, the three Post sons, along with their father Eugene Post, operate the winery and vineyards. The winery has a tasting room and offers winery tours. Mount Bethel produces a variety of wines including unique wines such as Port, made using traditional techniques, muscadine wine and fruit wines made from blueberries, elderberries, blackberries, wild plum, and strawberries.
