21 May 2008 - 22:53The 2007 Razorback yearbook wins Silver Crown award
The 2007 Razorback yearbook has been named the winner of the Silver Crown award by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. This is the first time the yearbook has been cited for this major national award for excellence since 1993.
As Megan Garner, co-editor of the 2007 book, says, “Great things are happening on the first floor of Kimpel, so keep an eye out!”
Members of the 2007 staff have been selected for Gold Circle awards by the CSPA. These awards are given for individual categories, such as feature writing or sports photo, as opposed to the Crowns, which are for general excellence.
Razorback staffers who won awards are Mallory Smith, Carolyn Finnie, and Megan Garner.
