UA Journalism Scholarships

It’s time to register for journalism scholarships. Each year, the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism gives out lots and lots of money at its J-Days Scholarship Ceremony. Even if your GPA isn’t great, there may be money for you. Graduate students are eligible too.

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS IN FEBRUARY EVERY YEAR.

Scholarship applications are available in the journalism office, Kimpel 116.

You can’t get a scholarship unless you apply. You should apply –whatever your GPA, whatever your financial status. The only students not be eligible are those who have only one semester of school to complete after this May. There ARE scholarships for students who plan to attend graduate school in this department. As long as you have at least two semesters left, you are eligible.
